I never get why Japanese video game companies are so incredibly uppity about people using the smallest things in their work. How in the world could you possibly damage them when all you do is use a few samples in a great song? Really, SEGA, Nintendo, C(r)APCOM, Sony and others: stop being such little pussies and give people who have backed you for more than 20 years the right to use some of your stuff every now and again.
Aaaaaaaanyway, nice song as always. I wouldn't have mind the beat a liiiiiitle beat harder and/or louder but other than that it's another Waterflame classic.
@rayekyalfa let's keep posting that rubbish to YouTube now, okay?
JayTMusicUK: Great song dude.
Dude I have to say it again...
I'm browsing your work on Newgrounds right now, and it is beyond me how I haven't heard of you before. Your beats are awesome beyond words and your tunes have exactly the edge I need to get people to start dancing!
Seriously, get the hell out there and either start working as a composer or become a DJ.
This is better than most stuff I hear on TV and radio nowadays. Why the hell are you not an infamous Techno DJ yet? This is what made Ching Chong Beautiful for me.
Rave on indeed.
I have to agree with MachShot and PhantomsWraith, it would be cooler without the fade so that it could loop. But this is just a small detail.
Very cool that you made this man, I hope more people will use it when making a game for Newgrounds!
CAR STUFF IT
I miss the Starfox games...
Great remake of a classic tune! I'm going to have to get my N64 going again, I need to play me some Lylatwars! Keep making tunes like these, they're awesome!
It was good at the beginning...
...but then the bass kicked in and it got even better! Epic remix for sure, great work! Keep this up!!
To be honest...
..I actually enjoyed just the last 15 seconds, where the beat comes in (00:38), other than that it's not special or even that interesting... Make a longer version of the last 15 seconds (with the beat) and I assure you it will be better.
I like it, especially liked the guitar (at 00:27), but overall I'd say it could be a bit more raw. Maybe you should try the guitar throughout the whole song? Great nontheless, I enjoyed it!
Nah, the guitar is there to give the loop a little variation. If I'd use it throughout the song it would become monotone. I could let in an arpeggio, but it would probably ruin the thing.
Thanks for the review.
